The course is currently open to Java and C++ developers.

Q & A

Who is it for?

Software developers with a minimum of two years solid development experience.

Why certification training?

Software development is a craft to its true practitioners. The craft has been advancing rapidly over the past dozen years, with significant advancements in many areas that include design, design patterns, test-driven development, and refactoring.

Unfortunately, these dramatic changes have left scores of developers behind. Universities have lagged behind in their adoption of cutting edge, competitive practicies. The result is a workplace where there are few minimal standards for hiring. Finding the right candidate for a position is a difficult proposition. Many candidates claim but do not have competency in practices like TDD.

Our primary interest in offering certification training for TDD is to provide a hiring manager with high levels of confidence that a certified candidate will be able to meet the demands of practicing effective test-driven development in the agile workplace.

Where and when?

The TDD certification course is offered remotely, on demand. Students interact with instructors each week. Students are expected to invest several additional hours per week on independent homework and research.

The fifteen week duration for the course allows for considerable rigor and retention in the learning process.

How Much?

The course is priced to be comparable to an online, four-credit university course, and is $2000 per student. Students will be expected to purchase some additional reading materials.
